In addition to my community work I received a Creative Individuals MSAB grant that is supporting my efforts to learn slip casting! I have experimented and made a bunch of birds. I had a show at Art Center St. Peter's and purchased a test kiln, or Doll-e kiln. They were originally used to fire porcelain dolls. I named her Dolly Parton. I will be doing some glaze testing soon! A mold making workshop is scheduled for October 15 5-8pm with Lisa Truax in Red Wing.
